Playstation 3 has been around for about 2 years now, and I think it’s the time to cover the Top 10 PS3 games that all Playstation 3 owners must buy. This list has been carefully put together, if you do own a Playstation 3 you must buy these games on this list. If you are not an owner of Playstation 3 then this list just became your wishlist!

Number 10 Spot: Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Ninja Gaiden 2 was really a great hit, it was missing alot of the orginial action packed concepts! Team Ninja greatest work was actually on the PS3, they released the new version of Ninja Gaiden. So this is another remake gone great, remember how good the Resident Evil 1 remake on Game cube was? This was as great, or actually we can say an even better remake. Nobody expected Team Ninja to actually pull this off, so for all Playstation 3 owners please find your way to the store and buy this game!

Number 9 Spot: Battlefield - Bad Company

Battlefield Bad Company

24 players playing online for free? What more could you ask for. We know that this title is available for Xbox 360, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth getting it on the PS3. Why? Let me tell you why: First off in the Xbox 360 verision you need to pay money to play it online, you don’t get the kind of luxury of the PSN. Secondly this game has a great single player mode, and which comes with a great story. If you are one of these people who don’t like to play online, and loves a great game story then this is the game for you. This game is really great, the weapons are great, the fact that you can blow up anything in the game is great. It is truly the next generation of First Person Shooter games, if you are looking for a Crysis solution on consoles then this is the greatest solution.

Number 8 Spot: Resistance - Fall of Man

Resistance

Resistance was a launch title for the Playstation 3, and since there wasn’t alot of good games that came out for the launch of the Playstation 3. This game seriously stood out as the best game for Playstation 3 for one year. The story takes place around World War 2 time, but instead of the humans fighting each other. The Humans are fighting a mutated human race in the lead of Nathan Hale, the story tranforms when we realize that Nathan Hale has been infected by this mutant race. The great thing about this game is that the co-op is really intense. If you are a owner of a Playstation 3 and you haven’t buy this game, make sure you buy it now.

Number 7 Spot: Heavenly Sword

Heavenly Sword

The Goddess of War has come to the Playstation 3 with all new game called The Heavenly Sword!. Nariko is on a vengeance road till she finds out that this is not just about revenge. This is about redemption, hacking and slashing through this game is one of kind experience. Some people criticize that this game is short, but we think that it’s not about quantity it’s about quality. This game can be challenging too, so if you expect yourself to play 5 hours straight and finish this game think again!

Number 6 Spot: Gran Turismo 5 - Prologue

Gran Turismo

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue was first underrated because many people thought that it was just a demo. Some people refused to pay 50 dollars for a demo, but the thing is it’s not really a demo. There is at least about 5-10 hours of gameplay, a normal demo won’t even let you play 15 mins. There are about 100 of cars from all different car makers. Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes, Lotus, Nissan, and many more you are able to choose from. Why is this in the top 10? Because it’s really worth the money, it will give you 10 hours of speed that you will never forget.

Number 5 Spot: Motorstorm

Motorstorm

Another underrated title on Playstation 3, was available on the launch of the Playstation 3. You can race in all type of vehicles starting from cars to big trucks to motorcycles. Spend hours of gameplay enjoying the speed, the craziness, the music. One of our editors couldn’t come to work without playing this game for couple of hours before his day started.

What Happened to Resident Evil?

Every man who owns a video game console, must of played Resident Evil. Resident Evil debuted on the Playstation One, reinventing horror games from scratch. Resident Evil one was one of the largest selling titles on Playstation one, which automatically created fans of Resident Evil all around the world.

Anyway enough with the History lesson, now the question is What the heck happened to Resident Evil? All through Resident Evil 3, Capcom have always knew exactly what we liked. We always liked the old look, we always liked the old menu, the way you kill zombies, we actually don’t get zombies anymore. What is going on? Where is Umbrella? What happened to Raccoon City? Where is Jill? All these questions haven’t been answered for years. Ever since Resident Evil 4 hit the streets, everything has went crazy. There are no more zombies, there is not more Umbrella, the story became twisted. Now what do we get? We get crazy town people who speak a weird language attacking with weapons! Where is the bitting? Where are the scary dogs, which used to really scare the crap out of me. I’m not saying that Resident Evil 4 is a bad game, but I’m saying what the heck is going on? What happened to the old Resident Evil? And now which brings me to the latest Resident Evil.. Resident Evil 5.

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 takes place in Africa, and finally we get someone we know playing the main character. Chris Redfield is back, but now he’s in Africa, and fighting the crap out of African Villiagers. This is seriously starting to piss me off, I think we will never get the old touch of Resident Evil.

Why Squaresoft Why?

For years Sony’s Playstation had a game that was one of the reasons why the system was successful. This game is called Final Fantasy, for a long time Squaresoft have given Sony the exclusiveness of the Final Fantasy. This all began when Nintendo refused to have the Nintendo 64 using CD format games, Squaresoft turned there back on Nintendo then and allied with Sony. The alliance between Squaresoft and Sony gave Playstation 1 and Playstation 2 great reasons to sell out over 300 million consoles total. I know people that were only buying these consoles to play Final Fantasy games, that is how much Final Fantasy affected the video gamers.

Final Fantasy 7

Final Fantasy 7 was released in the year 1997, that is when Squaresoft showed off there first 3D RPG, and the world went crazy. Ever since then Final Fantasy became every RPG’s number 1 game to buy, and it would be the only game that people can play all day without getting bored.

11 Years later… Location: E3 2008 — Event: Microsoft Conference 2008

At the last second of the Xbox 360 show off of the new titles, when the Conference is about to close down, the president of Squaresoft came back to tell the Microsoft fans one more reason why the Xbox 360 is the greatest console.

He says “I forgot something, please watch this video”

A video starts, and the end of Sony’s Exclusive Final Fantasy Reign is over!
